Jendzej Kovalcuk

Jędrzej Kowalczuk

Jendzej Kovalcuk is a student at Warsaw School of Economics studying international economic relations. He comes from Vilnius, so during his summer holidays Jendzej decided to join European Foundation of Human Rights.

From July to the end of September Jendzej will hold a research internship at the Foundation for the necessary information for his bachelor thesis on human rights in the Central and Eastern Europe.

While studying in the secondary school, Jendzej started being active and showing high results, especially in geography and history. He won 3rd place in the National Geography Olympiad and 3rd prize at the „Ocalmy od zapomnienia – polskie losy” competition. Last 3 years, Jendzej spent his time making his best at the School’s Council and Students’ Self-Government.

He is interested in EU’s institutions, geopolitics, issues of national minorities.

In February 2013, Jendzej will go on the Erasmus exchange programme to the Zagreb School of Economics.
