Polish edition of the Council of Europe education pack “Rights and Freedoms in practice” being distributed

On behalf of the Council of Europe, the European Foundation of Human Rights has produced the Polish edition of the education pack “Rights and freedoms in practice”, which offers an accessible and comprehensive introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights and the workings of the European Court of Human Rights.

Thanks to the great efforts of the Foundation and its trainees, 5000 copies of the Polish edition  were printed, 350 of which were distributed to a wide range of  human rights institutions and networks (the Council of Europe Office in Warsaw, UNICEF Poland, the Office of the Ombudsman for Children, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, the Center for Citizenship Education, Open Republic and the Modern Poland Foundation), as well as Warsaw universities (Kozminski University, Lazarski University, Warsaw University, Warsaw School of Economics, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, College of Customs and Logistics). The remaining copies will be distributed to educational institutions inLithuania.

The Lithuanian edition of the education pack is currently under preparation.

We hope that this human rights education pack “Rights and freedoms in practice” will provide useful resource material to both teachers and students. The pdf format of the pack may be downloaded on: http://efhr.eu/hdd/fiches_dh_PL_lite.pdf or on the Council of Europe’s website.

If you are interested in receiving this human rights education pack please contact the Foundation.
