The new academic year has begun. The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) wants to inform you about a new initiative from the Wileńszczyzna Foundation – scholarships for students of Polish descent studying in Lithuania.
As the Foundation has declared: “the fundamental objective of the Foundation is to support youth of Polish descent who live in the countries of the former USSR or study in Poland. We try to provide young people with material aid and in-kind contributions and support Polish community organizations conducting educational, scientific and culture activities”.
The Foundation provides two kinds of benefits:

It is addressed to students of Polish descent from the countries of the former USSR and students of the Vilnius Branch of the University of Białystok. The scholarships are available for the students of Economics. The amount of the benefit is from 400 up to 1600 ZL per month. This material aid helps students finish their education, take part in numerous conferences, meetings and diverse training sessions and courses in Economics.
