On 28 May this year, in The House of Polish Culture (DKP), the first screening as part of the European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) run project ‘Nights with a documentary’ took place. The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) invites all cinema fans to a screening of three films: “Carpathian Roma from the Poland-Slovakia Borderland”, “Experiment Translation” and “Ethnic Kitchen.” The aim of the meetings under the project “Evenings with Documentary Films” is, among other things, to cultivate awareness of human rights, including the rights of minorities, and prompt society to reflect on this subject. The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) encourages young people to participate in voluntary projects at Polish orphanages in the Vilnius region. You can take part in the voluntary service from June until September 2015. Voluntary service in orphanages is a great opportunity to help others.
