We are inviting you to take part in the “Skills Tandem” project

Cards-Image-tandemThe European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) begins a new project entitled “Skills Tandem”, promoting the cultural integration in Vilnius. The educational project is targeted at the youth aged 14-19 years old – Poles, Lithuanians, Russians, Belarusians, Jews, and others.

The main aim of the project is to socially integrate the youth of different nationalities and to encourage the cross-cultural dialog. The leading idea of the project “Skills Tandem” is to create the opportunities for the students to gain new skills (artistic, intellectual, linguistic, technical, creative) from their peers, in return for sharing their own.

The participants of the project will have to create multinational teams which will meet on a regular basis (8 meetings). During the meetings, the students will share their skills with each other and cover the entire course online (pictures, videos and other selected forms). The works of the teams will be published weekly on the website of the project tandem.efhr.eu, on which not only you will be allowed to see the statutes but also get to know a little bit about the members of the teams. While the project “Skills Tandem” will be taking place, the students will be encouraged to use help and support of the volunteers.

The gained skills will be presented by the participants on a celebratory gala which will close the project on 27th November. All of the teams will be given rewards and certificates which will confirm their participation in the project.
