The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) is currently hosting two volunteers who were selected for the Erasmus+ and European Voluntary Service (EVS) project “Promote diversity, promote human rights”. The volunteers, Aneta Maciejewska (from Poland) and Leah Nedahl (from the UK), will have the opportunity to develop professional skills, learn about a new culture and enhance their understanding of complex legal issues in the field of human rights, especially where minority groups are concerned. The European Foundation of Human Rights brought another action before the Vilnius City Administrative Court concerning the right to privacy protection and respect for family life. The famous poet Adam Mickiewicz’s great-great-grandson, Roman Gorecki-Mickiewicz, asked EFHR for legal assistance in order to protect the rights of his daughter. The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) held a free training session on the “Implementation of International Law” today which was attended by 70 people. In October Aneta Maciejewska started her ten-month volunteer at the European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) to take part in the EVS project “Promote diversity, promote human rights.” Aneta graduated from Wrocław University with a BA in International Relations and completed her MA in International Economic Relations at Gdańsk University.
