The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! To honour this special occasion the European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) is inviting YOU to take part in our Facebook competition!

Thanks to EVS, over the last 20 years young people have had the opportunity to volunteer abroad, contribute to a cause they believe in and support the work of NGOs, youth centres, cultural centres and local communities!

This is what we want to know from you: How would you convince a young person to take part in an EVS project abroad?

You can write a text/poem/song/whatever you like (the only limit is your imagination!) promoting EVS and encouraging young people to participate!

We will feature the best entries on our Facebook page.

The competition rules are simple:

  • Send us your answer via e-mail (evs@efhr.eu) or FB message
  • Share this post
  • Like our EFHR Facebook page
  • Be creative!

Closing Date: The competition closing date is Friday 17th June (17.06.2016), 12pm midday. The winner will be announced on Tuesday (21.06.2016).

The Prize: For the author of the most creative and convincing answer we have two tickets to FORUM Cinema (to see the film of your choice) as well as some Europe-themed freebies (including backpack)! We look forward to reading your entries!
