The European Foundation of Human Rights will take part in the “What about Gender?” training course

On 12 April, the European Foundation of Human Rights encouraged all to apply for participation in the “What about Gender?” training course (more information: http://www.efhr.eu/2012/04/12/szkolenia-co-na-temat-plci/). Applications for participation were open for organizations in all countries of the European Union, the SEE countries (Montenegro,Serbia,Turkey,Moldova,Macedonia,Croatia,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Albania) and the EECA (Eastern EuropeandCentral Asia) countries. After a thorough consideration of all submitted applications, the Appraising Committee selected only 10 best candidates, including the European Foundation of Human Rights. Our trainee, Krzysztof Adam Górski, will represent the Foundation on this prestigious training course. The course is organized within the framework of the European “Youth in Acion” project by the “Alinhas?” association. The purpose of the course is facilitation of talks and debates on gender equality and discrimination. The issue of the strategy to fight discrimination in the next years will also be raised. The event will take place on 13—21 October inPorto,Portugal. The project is subsidized from the funds of the European Union.
