EFHR invites for a free training!

Plakat_2013_12_20The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) is pleased to invite you to an International Human Rights Training Session on 20th of December 2013, during which participants will have the opportunity to deepen their practical and theoretical knowledge of European and International Human Rights law.

The lecture will be held in English on 20 December 2013, starting at 15:00. EFHR is looking forward to welcoming you at Liepkalnio g. 103, Vilnius. 

The training is provided by human rights expert Dr Fernand de Varennes,

It is addressed to lawyers, judges, NGOs, students and people working with vulnerable  groups as well as to all other people interested in these issues.

The training is free of any additional costs charge (and includes light Lunch). All participants will receive a certificate.

Fernand_de_VarennesDr Fernand de Varennes – obtained a law degree (LL.B.) in Canada and a Masters degree in law (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. In 1996 he obtained his doctorate in law (Dr Juris) from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Dr de Varennes founded, among others, the first human rights LL.M. in Australia and is a well known expert on minority and human rights. He has taught students in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. He has been on the advisory board of many scientific law journals and research centres, and has written over 150 articles and books which have appeared in about 30 languages.
