EFHR representatives at the Culture Night festival

From 20 to 21 of June 2014, everyone in Vilnius could participate in over 200 varied projects and events at the Culture Night festival (“Kultūros naktis”). This year, the Polish Cultural Centre (DKP) in Vilnius joined the event for the first time. The DKP part of the festival started with the play Zapiski oficera Armii Czerwonej (The Diary of the Red Army Officer) staged by the Polish Studio Theatre in Vilnius. Visitors could also taste some delicious Polish cuisine.

Representatives of the European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) also participated in the event. They presented examples of EFHR activities including legal cases that had been won thanks to the Foundation providing legal aid to natural and juridical persons.

At the EFHR booth the visitors could find free educational materials about human rights and national minorities, EFHR flyers (http://en.efhr.eu/efhr-flyers/), and take legal advice from EFHR representatives.

The EFHR appreciates events that provide cultural education to society. The Foundation is glad to participate in such events and to have an opportunity to present its activities and spread knowledge about the topic of human rights.
