A new volunteer at EFHR
Karolina Bryk is a second year European Studies student of bachelor degree at the University of Warsaw. The European union fields, which interest her the most, are international cooperation and European union founds, which help to downscale economic inequality between member states. Her curriculum includes such subjects: political science, economics, legal sciences, therefore she decided to do her internship in our foundation, to use already obtained knowledge in practice. One of leading subject, which Karolina learned during her studies was law, both international and European.
She is familiar with the subject of national minorities and their rights. Therefore, she decided to do her two-week internship in EFHR. The main reason was the subject, which the foundation deals with, connected with the preservation of human rights and national minorities, especially Poles, as a territorial minority. She got earlier experience with international environment within her voluntary at International Festival of Contemporary Dance.
European integration and human rights are not the only fields that she is interested in. Besides her studies she is interested in culture, art and especially opera music. She has been developing her technique in this field since the youngest age. Apart from participating voice production classes she works in a comedy theatre as a performance organizer. Since her childhood she has loved horse riding, and nowadays she devotes it her free time.
