New EFHR office in Vilnius
European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR), a non-governmental organisation that works every day to protect human rights and national minorities’ rights in Lithuania, since June has been operating in a new office in Vilnius. This change is a part of an exceptional period for the whole organisation, which last year celebrated its 10th year anniversary. To mark this solid anniversary, the EFHR organised an international conference, during which national and foreign experts discussed the situation of national minorities in Lithuania and evaluated the legal measures taken by Lithuanian and international institutions in this area. You can find the recording of the conference by clicking here.
One of our principle goals is to offer free legal advice to anyone who has been a victim of discrimination and human rights abuses in their professional or private life or witnesses such abuses (e.g. if the party is a government office or employer). EFHR is dedicated to educating and informing the public about human rights, monitoring the cyberspace to identify hate speech in comments and addressing issues of the original spelling of names and surnames.
The Foundation is constantly seeking optimal solutions not only in terms of customer service on a local and national level, but also in the context of human capital. In line with this idea, at the beginning of June the Foundation moved to a new office located in an office building at 19 Metalo str. (Vilnius). We hope that the change to a more spacious and modern office will allow us to provide more prompt and even more efficient service to our Clients.
With regard to the above, we hereby invite you for meetings and legal consultations to the new office at the address: Metalo str. 19 (2nd floor), Vilnius LT-02190. The Foundation is open on all weekdays from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., however, for the convenience of our Clients we ask you to contact us in advance – by phone or email (tel. +370 691 50 822, email: info@efhr.eu), in order to arrange the date and time of the meeting, so that we can come entirely at your disposal.
