New EFHR Volunteer – Brigita Gerikaitė

New EFHR Volunteer – Brigita Gerikaitė

Brigita Gerikaitė is a fourth year International Relations & Chinese student at Goldsmiths University of London. Brigita became interested in human rights in the eleventh grade, when she visited Sicily as part of the “Erasmus+” programme. There she took part in a project aimed at bringing young people together to discuss how to improve the integration of minorities and immigrants into society. Brigita’s main areas of interest are gender equality and issues related to the situation of national minorities in Lithuania. Her initiative and good theoretical background helped her to quickly get involved in projects run by the European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR).
