Together for a better tomorrow: a message from the European Foundation of Human Rights for 2025

Each new year brings new hopes, goals, and challenges. In the face of dynamic social and political changes, 2024 was a time of intense work, commitment, and significant achievements for the European Foundation of Human Rights. Our efforts to protect human rights, promote tolerance, and support national and ethnic minorities resulted in many successes that would not have been possible without your support and trust.

The past months have reminded us of the need to continue addressing the challenges that communities in Europe and around the world still face. The normalization of human rights violations, the escalation of global conflicts, and the lack of effective political solutions continue to cause suffering and hinder the development of societies across the globe. We believe that 2025 can become a year in which these difficulties are overcome through collective efforts to build a more just and peaceful world.

Our message for the coming year is a call for solidarity, mutual respect, and consistent action to strengthen human rights. Let 2025 become a symbol of the triumph of democratic order, respect for minority rights, and the promotion of inclusivity in all spheres of social life. At the same time, we wish to emphasize the vital role of every individual in striving for positive change. Together, we can build a society where cultural and linguistic diversity is seen as a strength, not a challenge. In our work, we will continue to focus on protecting minority rights, educating about tolerance, and promoting intercultural dialogue, believing that only unity holds the power to transform the world for the better.
