New EFHR team volunteer
Justyna Bielska is a second year MA student at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, studying political science with a specialization in institutions and policy management.
She comes from Cieszyn, a border town between Poland and the Czech Republic, and thus, she has always been familiar with another culture. She has also taken part in numerous workshops and meetings concerning establishing a dialogue between two nationalities – specifically the Polish and Czech nationalities.
Learning about how countries and NGOs function has always fascinated her. She became interested in human rights during her studies. By coming to the European Foundation of Human Rights in Vilnius, she wanted to broaden her knowledge in this field and gain valuable experience. She also wishes to get an opportunity to work in an international environment and face some interesting tasks which would help her develop her practical skills.
During her traineeship at Wisła Town Hall, in the Promotion, Tourism, Culture, and Sport Office, she developed her knowledge of her other interests: Marketing and Public Relations. Justyna likes being active in her free time (her favourite activities are running, skating, travelling and going to concerts), or reading a good book while listening to music.
