Polish language media in Lithuania are broadening their scope of recipients!

A new section of the website of the European Foundation of Human Rights: http://media.efhr.eu was launched. You can find there translations into English of the most important articles, related to the issue of the Polish minority in Lithuania. The articles are coming from “Kurier Wileński”, website www.wilnoteka.lt, „Tygodnik Wileńszczyzny” and a radio station „Znad Wilii”.

Thanks to this platform, the information about the situation of the Polish minority in Lithuania will also be able to reach foreign receivers and media, who will be informed about its position and arguments. For Polish media in Lithuania that means an access to unlimited number of recipients all around the world, all this for free.

The new website is one of the many important initiatives of the Foundation, which aims to improve the situation of the rights of minorities in Lithuania.

All the translations have been prepared by volunteers from numerous countries, in particular Lithuania, Poland, United Kingdom and United States, as part of their internship at the European Foundation of Human Rights.

We would like to thank everyone for a fruitful and interesting cooperation!

We would also like to invite everyone interested to join and actively participate in the work of the Foundation for human rights in Lithuania. Each of you can contribute!
