Europe Day has passed

Europe Day has passed

The Europe Day is an annual celebration observed on 9 of May. To celebrate it the European Foundation of Human Rights organized again a trip to the Vilnius Center (Lukiŝkių Square). The Foundation tent was an attraction for many passers-by, tourists, and even hurrying to their offices the Vilnius residents. EFHR, as always, made available the information for free: booklets, leaflets, gadgets, fluorescent stickers etc., which immediately became very popular among the passers-by. Those intent on – were able to support the initiative Fraternite 2020, and to receive legal advice for free. The Foundation stand was popular among several Members of RL Parliament, as well, so a discussion about EFHR actions developed. The Foundation employees talked about EFHR activities, their help for people, and the ways of providing it, the winning cases, and about Europe as well as the present information regarding EU. The teenagers, however, were interested in getting experience in working for EU and volunteering for EFHR. We thank you all those being with us and we encourage you to improve your knowledge about EU and the human rights using our website www.efhr.eu bookmark Education, where one can find a lot of ample information not only about Human Rights, but about EU structure and its institutions. If you are interested in our legal advisors help, their visit to your working place or your city/town/village to provide free legal advice on the issues concerned with human rights, contact us on efhr@efhr.eu (http://www.efhr.eu/kontakt/).
