EFHR at the The Polish Culture Days

EFHR at the The Polish Culture Days

IMAG4140 (1)On 28-30th November 2014, in the House of Polish Culture in Vilnius, The Polish Culture Days were held. The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) played an active role in these activities.

Several hundred people attended The Polish Cultural Days. During the celebration people like Alice Węgorzewska, Barry Manilow and the group “Army of Children” attended. The exhibition “John Paul II -Polonia Semper Fidelis” was also running at the same time.

At the EFHR stand educational materials, EFHR flyers and information leaflets were available. The Polish and Lithuanian version of the Educational Council of Europe brochure entitled “Rights and freedoms in practice” and “47 countries, one organization … the Council of Europe” were also available.

We are pleased to say that our stand was very popular with both adults and children. We hope that our presence drew attention of the citizens of Vilnius on the responsibility of respecting human rights in everyday life. Once again, we would like to sincerely thank all the organizers for their support and co-operation and we hope to see you all again next time!
