EFHR invites you to participate in a free of charge training course – „Rights of national minorities in the European Union: theory and practice“
The European Foundation for Human Rights (EFHR) invites you to participate in a training course on „Rights of national minorities in the European Union: theory and practice“.
Training course will be led by Katažyna Mikša PhD, international law and human rights expert and associate professor at Mykolas Romeris University. K. Mikša has over 11 years of teaching experience.
Topics of the training course:
- Provisions of the Treaties;
- The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union;
- Provisions of regulations and directives;
- The European Parliament’s Committee on Petitions (PETI) – practical issues of the petitions.
Everyone interested in this topics, especially those who work within the legal field on a daily basis, such as lawyers, prosecutors, judges, legal firm employees as well as law students are invited to participate at the event. Participation is free of charge. Each participant will be awarded with a certificate.
The training course will be held in English on 23rd May at 10:00 am, in the room 305 of The House of Polish Culture in Vilnius (Naugarduko str. 76, Vilnius). This is not the first training course organized by the EFHR. This year, EFHR is implementing the 4th edition of the project called „Implementation of International Law“. You can find more information about previous training sessions here.
