Thays Moreira – a new intern at EFHR

Originally from Brazil, Thays has recently found her new place in Portugal, where she’s pursuing an undergraduate degree in International Relations. As a child, she always liked to read books about other countries, and she has been curious to explore the world ever since.

Having volunteered at the Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights and passionate about learning more about the struggles of women worldwide, Thays wants to follow a career path in the field of minorities. As an intern at EFHR, she expects to gain tools to develop her ideas and dreams around the topic of human rights, both in Latin America and the EU.

After receiving her bachelor’s diploma, Thays wants to pursue a master’s degree and coordinate educational activities on literature, exploring the works of female writers. Outside of university, her passions are photography, cinema, travels, dance, writing and hiking.
