Jędrzej Błaszczak – a new intern at EFHR

Jędrzej Błaszczak is a student at the University of Silesia in south of Poland, where he studies law.

During his degree he became particularly interested in international law, human rights and diplomacy. He had the opportunity to practice at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tehran, where he participated in diplomatic meetings, wrote reports for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was involved in the daily work of the embassy.

Time spent in the “European Foundation for Human Rights” is a great opportunity for him to carry out project on “Research about situation of polish minorities in Lithuania”. Internship in the European Foundation of Human Rights will be a great possibility to deepen theoretical information and get acknowledge about human rights violation in Lithuania, also to gain practical skills.

He is also interested in bioethics, and his latest research concentrate on “Problems of physican-assisted suicide on the basis of human rights”.

He is happy to do his month and a half internship at the EFHR because that will help improve his skills and gather knowledge and experience for his future career.
