Support the European Foundation of Human Rights – donate 2%

2_proc_paramaThe European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) has been working only since 2010 and has already achieved so much. This is all thanks to the help of the people like YOU! Thanks to your support we are able to continue our actions in aid of respecting the human rights and the rights of the ethnic minorities in Lithuania.

In 2015, we managed to win a landmark court case regarding the original spelling of names and surnames of the citizens of Lithuania in their identity documents – the court allowed a surname to be spelled with “W”; we have filed 129 applications about the cases of hate speech online, we have prepared 34 complaints concerning discriminative job offers, and we have organized a summative conference which showed the situation of the ethnic minorities in Lithuania and presented the activity of EFHR

Now, the EFHR’s priority will be undertaking actions towards approving the laws which aim to secure the rights of minorities (i.a. acts regarding minorities, the original spelling of names and surnames). We are also planning to continue educating the society about respecting and securing the human rights.

Your contribution will allow us to do even more. If you agree with the ideas and the activities of EFHR, we will be grateful for support during the year.

If you would like to support EFHR, at any time, you can transfer your donation to the bank account of the Foundation.
