EVS vacancy in Poland!  Volunteering for YOUTH

UntitledThe European Voluntary Service (EVS) project is supposed to seek  for development and promotion of local and European volunteering in the city of Kielce and its region through participation in a local project for youth development and  initiatives “Bus Stop for Youth”. The project is  looking for volunteers from Germany, Estonia and Lithuania.

Dates of the project: 15th February – 15th June

Venue: Kielce, Poland

The aim of the project: to increase social participation,especially of young people,  and encourage their active participation in the creation of the cultural life of Kielce  city and its  region.  

 

WHAT WILL VOLUNTEERS DO?

-Travel around the region and organize presentation and workshops for school pupils and university students to promote volunteering – Assist in daily tasks of the Volunteers Centre

-Hold language and hobby workshops  in the youth centre

-Organize monthly celebrations for foreigners living in Kielce

-Implement your own ideas

– Meet amazing people and have lot of fun

 

WHAT ARE THE LIVING CONDITIONS AND COSTS?

Volunteers will be  provided with money for travel, pocket money and money for food (monthly pocket and food – 185 EUR) as well as accommodation and city transport tickets. Volunteers will also attend Polish language classes.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The organization is looking for people 17-30 years old with basic volunteer experience (local volunteering, scouting,community service etc…). Basic English is required.
